Chair

The holder of this position chairs the weekly committee meetings and other society events (meetings with MPs and AMs as an example). The chair has a casting vote if there is a tie in the committee. The Chair is responsible for the welfare of the society and is its point of contact with the guild of students. In committee meetings the Chair should allow all members committee or not to have equal standing in debates and points of view. A chairman/Chairwoman is a first among equals.
